The most common cause of sewer line damage is the roots of trees. Tree roots go after sources of water as they grow. Since sewer lines carry liquid waste, roots are naturally captivated by the source. Once in contact with a sewer pipe, tree roots begin to cover around and break into pipes, clogging the structure.
Sewer lines are only used to handle human waste and toilet paper. Keep away from flushing waste like wrappers and paper towels, as they are not able to correctly disintegrate and can source blockages in the toilet sewer line.

PIPE BURSTING
If a sewer line is too damaged to use the pipe lining method, a more interfering trenchless repair can be executed. Plumbing technicians feed a cone-shaped bit through your existing line and destroy the pipe while instantly replacing it with a new one. This process is more expensive and less time-effective, but it doesn’t require large digging.
SERVICING
If your pipes are damaged far off repair, you may have to resort to standard sewer line replacement methods. This is a very interfering and costly method that requires Plumbing technicians to dig up your yard to let out the damaged or broken lines.
