Why Navien condensate has to be planned
Condensing Navien units pull extra heat from the exhaust and produce condensate that has to leave the cabinet. In a Houston garage that condensate cannot dump onto the slab or into a pan that never drains.

Gas supply for condensing Navien units
High-efficiency Navien heaters still need a large, steady gas supply while water is moving. A line that was fine for a storage tank will starve the burner when a second shower opens in a Katy or Cypress house.
We total the BTU load, including the range and any outdoor appliances, and upsize or dedicate the run when the Navien cannot hold temperature. That work is permitted and pressure-tested.
Recirculation only when the piping supports it
Some Navien models can support recirculation so distant baths are not waiting on a long cold slug. That only helps if a return path or a crossover plan already fits the house. We do not add a pump to piping that cannot circulate.
If the complaint is simply an undersized tank, a Navien without recirculation may still be the right upgrade. We say which problem you actually have.
